Best in Blog - Link up Your Best Ever

My weekend began with Wookie Cookies, Star Wars and twenty amped-up kids packed into our house on Friday night....

And ended on Sunday when the tent was finally packed away, after a Saturday spent Backyard Camping (complete with midnight wakings as shivering kidlets squirmed ever closer until we all shared one tiny space and warmed each other up on a frosty Autumn evening). What can I say... it was the Best.

{I'll be posting more about both extremes of fun and adventure later in the week... including sharing with you my Wookie Cookie recipe... mmmmm... so Chewie! Hehe}

My brand new red enamel milk jug was perfect for endless outdoor camping milos... and I had to post a photo of it's red-dotty cuteness as requested by my lovely friend Leonie who has a thing for red-and-dotty. Love you Leonie ♥

{Next time you're in Auckland I promise you a cup of tea poured from red-dotty teapot}

{The Shop in Coff's Harbour named after Miss Fab - her blog is called the Ab Fab Blab
- "Ab Fab" is what we call her at home}
The Best of Me
Last week was life-changing. Our un-Holiday to Coffs Harbour (to see a man about a black Dog) was the best thing we could have ever done. Not easy, not enjoyable, but worthwhile. I am looking forward to sharing what revolutionised my whole outlook on my life later this week (when I'm fully recovered from the hectic weekend we just had).

The Best of You from Last Week...
It was a slightly quiet week on the blogging front... which means that although I loved all your links, it wouldn't be fair to pick my usual three favourites (cos that would only leave two unpicked).
So I've chosen the post which gave me goosebumps...

Sarah from Catching the Magic wrote a post which really touched my heart. Sarah is one of my earliest blog-friends, and it's not that often she lets us into her private struggles. On Sarah's blog we are always treated to plenty of the life and colour that goes with raising three very different daughters in a foreign country but this week when Sarah opened up, it really touched me. I've shared plenty here about my journey through Depression, and I know how hard that can be - especially when you know real-life family and friends are reading.
I want to say a huge thankyou to Sarah for stepping out and letting us in. Props to you, Sarah.
And your Book Spine Poem gave me "goosies".

{Find out about creating Book Spine Poetry here at 100 Scope notes.
I am so going to do this with the kids!}

THIS WEEK LINK UP YOUR BEST-EVER.
This week I'm offering you the choice to choose whether to link up your best post from the past week... or your best post EVER. Maybe you've lost your blogging mojo and blog-posts have been thin on the ground. So go back into your archives and pick the post you love the most - the one you're proudest of - and share it with us. Who knows? maybe re-reading your earlier brilliance might re-spark your blog-love.

How to join in with my "Best in Blog" linky.

The "Best in Blog" Linky opens at 7am every Monday (NZ time*) and closes midnight Friday.
You don't have to write a special post, or take a photo on a theme or anything that requires extra work...
All you have to do is pick your favourite post from the past week (the one you are most proud of) and share it with us. I will feature my favourites on next week's Best in Blog.

Just one thing you need to do before you link up... Can you please dress your post with this pretty button I've made so your readers can find our linky too?

Best in Blog
Thankyou kindly!

(Oh, and please leave us a comment telling us why you picked this one... even if it was because it was your only one, hahaha!)

*For some of you US readers, that will be sometime on Sunday!
