PicMonkey Love

On this blustery tummy-sore day, all I want to do is make a cup of tea and curl up on my bed with my book, but somehow I fell into playing on  PicMonkey.

For a long time I've been a dedicated PhotoScape user. Every image I upload to this blog has been re-sized, and tweaked in my favourite photo-editing program before hitting your screens.

I had never found an easier, simpler photo-tool that gave me collages as well... until now.

PicMonkey, the new kid on the block, was created by the people who brought us Piknic until the giant-that-is-Google bought it and took it away. I never much liked Picnik (never could spell it either), but I have to say PicMonkey  is bleedin' fantastic.

So many tools. So many effects. Click click. Drag, drop. Done.

Stunning in seconds.

I never intended for this to be a post about  PicMonkey . I was just simply lacking in bloggy inspiration, and feeling slightly gooey over my offspring, so decided to play around with some old photos of my babies.

I mean, just look at them...

Some of that is me. And some of it is PicMonkey.
(My favourite  PicMonkey  effect is the rather golden-delicious "Tranquil").

And there we have it. A post just like that.
Thanks  PicMonkey .
I love you already.
Right, now I'm off to put my feet up and stick my nose into my book before those delicious-but-noisy babies of mine come bursting in...

Have you monkeyed around on PicMonkey yet?

{NOTE: PicMonkey is not just useful for bloggers. It's a free photo editing tool that anyone can use to make their snaps pretty. You don't even have to download it. Free. Easy. Useful and beautiful. What more could you ask for?}
