Loving... Looking on the Bright Side

When you feel like crap and you think you look like it too, it's a challenge to Look on the Bright Side.
So here I am taking up the challenge.

I'll focus on the positive, as best I can... and hope that by the time I'm finished I'll feel better for it.

Righto. Accentuating the Positive...

Loving that School is Back
Loving that my kids both have great teachers. And a couple of good friends in their class.
Loving that they came home buzzing about their first day at school.
Loving that I got all their books covered with Duraseal in time, mostly wrinkle-free. (Still not loving Duraseal)

Loving Little Girls Who Tidy their Rooms Beautifully before School...

Hmmmmm... and Big Boys Who DON'T...
{Loving the Boy. NOT Loving the mess}

Loving Little Boys who Play Happily...
Little boys who ask for "memonade" and then say "Oh boy! Memonade my BEST!"

Loving Conversations With Dash about the Dark Side...
Who knew that Star Wars can be so deep? Did you know that fear and anger are the path to the Dark Side? Oh yes. And look at what Anakin lost when he gave into fear and listened to the Emperor's lies... the very thing he was scared of losing (Padme), he caused to be lost. His body was destroyed. His freinds were destroyed. He lost his children. So much to lose when you follow the path of fear and anger to the Dark Side. Yep. Loving conversations with Dash.

Loving Window Seats and Mix CD's...

Loving Vegan Ratatouille... and Fruity Breakfast Oats...
Loving it even more with Lite Coconut Milk.
Recipes HERE

{Not sure if I can say I am Loving the Daniel Fast... but I guess I am loving what I have managed to cook so far...}

And Finally. I can't help it...
I'm Not Loving my new haircut.

Arrrggghhh!! Why didn't I just tell the hairdresser (who I love. She is Russian and very cool)... why didn't I just say, "Do it like last time??"
Now I feel like I should put a Cloche hat on my head and break into the Charleston!

But.
Loving that Hair Grows Back.

THE FINE PRINT
In the interests of honesty this blogger is also not loving crimson tides, cramps, humidity, daylight saving, kids who won't go to sleep, kids who tell porkies, short fuses, endless growling, mornings, excess kilos, lack of energy and gravity.

I Hate when your hair looks great when you step out of the salon and then you cant ever make it look that good again...no matter how hard you try! I think you look great :) Yay for the kids back at school and getting back to routine...and more quiet time to peruse through blogs all day!

Actually lovin your hair - I could never have mine cut like that, would love to but would make my hair spring up way too much.
Love girls that tidy their rooms...hope mine will put in some effort some day soon x

Loving that conversation with Dash... Last year sometime (when I was looking after a million kids) I had a defective McD's Yoda toy that would mutter something about the force being with me everytime I walked past it.
Felt oddly comforted by that at times...

Oh yes, positivity, only way to get through my day. I just had a high schooler demanding her athletics gear for tomorrow (even though i was cooking dinner for half a dozen children, had 2 stove tops, the oven & microwave going, there was a storm outside so athletics looks doubtful & i had a 7 minute window to vaccuum before dinner & our extra guests were picked up) . . . that takes a whole lot of positivity!! Love Posie

I'm LOVING your haircut! Very sleek and stylish and it suits you! I like how it crops at your jawline. But that's just my opinion and yes it does grow back - even faster if you're pregnant...just a thought ;D

I don't know, I think the hair is looking pretty darn cute! I've been contemplating getting mine cut that length as well. Had to smile at the Star Wars discussion as well. I have those deep discussions on almost a nightly basis with my 6 year old. Who knew someone could know so much about Star Wars?

Thanks for dropping by on my SITS day and have a great weekend!
